Detailer Portal FAQs

1. What is the AOD Detailer Portal?

The AOD Detailer Portal is the central place for onboarding, required documents, training materials, certification steps, and detailer resources. It is designed to help detailers understand AOD’s standards before supporting client assignments.

2. Who needs to use the portal?

Any detailer who wants to be considered for AOD assignments must use the portal to complete onboarding requirements, review training materials, and complete certification.

3. What do I need to complete before I can work with AOD?

Detailers must complete all required onboarding documents, review applicable policies and training materials, and pass the required certification assessment before being considered assignment-ready.

4. Is certification required?

Yes. Certification is required before a detailer can be considered fully prepared to represent AOD on qualifying assignments.

5. What score is required to pass certification?

A 100% score is required to pass. Certification will not be provided unless the assessment is passed with 100%.

6. What happens if I do not pass the certification assessment?

If you do not receive a 100%, certification will not be issued. You may be asked to review the training materials again and retake the assessment until all required knowledge is demonstrated.

7. Does certification guarantee I will receive assignments?

No. Certification does not guarantee assignment placement. It confirms that you have completed the required training and are eligible to be considered for future opportunities based on availability, location, skill set, professionalism, client needs, and assignment requirements.

8. What types of assignments does AOD support?

AOD supports vehicle readiness, detailing, inspections, display maintenance, test drive programs, brand activations, golf events, auto shows, experiential marketing events, commercial shoots, video shoots, and other premium automotive experiences.

9. What standards are certified AOD detailers expected to follow?

Certified AOD detailers are expected to arrive prepared, communicate clearly, follow assignment instructions, protect client vehicles, respect the event environment, complete work professionally, and escalate issues quickly when needed.

10. Where do I go if I have questions during onboarding or certification?

If you have questions while completing onboarding or certification, contact AOD through the communication method provided in your portal instructions. Do not guess or skip unclear requirements. Ask before moving forward so the process is completed correctly.
